In July 2005 we bottled the first commercial quantity of LanzThomson wine - our 2004 Shattered Rock Shiraz. The wine was released in October 2005 and was selected in the value wine dozen for the wine club run by Australias national newspaper "The Australian". Selections for this prestigious offering are made by James Halliday, a doyen of wine scribes and Australian wine judges:
"This wine is a labour of love: a small vineyard, hand-planted amongst shattered rock, small yields of intensely flavoured fruit, a rich generous wine...... very impressive".
